our crew.

The creative craftspeople that make up the casts and crews of Lindisfarne Productions are from the freelance community. Award-winning directors, camera operators, editors, writers and performers are contracted to form our high-caliber production teams.

Each team is hand-picked to suit the specific needs of each production.

Our network of professionals are positioned around North America, Europe and Asia. It includes individuals who have worked with NBC, BBC, CBC, Fox Network, Discovery Channel, Life Network, TLC, CHUM, Global, NHK Broadcasting (Japan), CTV and others. And if a project requires additional versions in languages other than English, we contract the translators, interpreters and voice talent necessary to record in the appropriate dialects of those other countries and cultures for those specific audiences.

Meet Us.

Fred Keating

Fred Keating

Since incorporating Lindisfarne Productions Inc. in 1984, Fred and associates have produced, directed, written, and hosted on-camera programs, and interviewed or done voice-over work for corporate clients, as well as a variety of territorial, provincial and federal government departments. He is especially known in business and government circles as a "presentations skills" coach who can make the most anxious executive, organizational representative or rookie relax and give effective on-camera statements.

Fred also has over thirty years in Canadian and American television and film, as a writer/performer. For six seasons he played City Councillor Jack Pierce on CBC's DaVinci's Inquest and DaVinci City Hall. He is a voting member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, the Writer's Guild of Canada, ACTRA, Union of BC Performers, and Women in Film and Video Vancouver. Fred was the recipient of the 2005 Alberta Centennial Medal for his contributions to the film and television industries.

Since graduating from NAIT's Radio and Television Arts Program with distinction in 1999, Simon has worked on productions for Life Network, The History Channel, Discovery Channel, ACCESS, Canadian Learning Television, National Geographic, CTV, WTN, BBC, and for numerous corporate and commercial clients. For the past ten years, Simon has shared his technical expertise in shooting and editing documentary films, educational videos, and multimedia.

In addition to being a principal partner in Lindisfarne Productions, Simon has carved out a very successful career as an editor for clients such as PBS, Discovery Channel, Outdoor Life Network, History Channel, BBC, and National Geographic and as a videographer for projects sponsored by Edmonton Public Schools, EPCOR, Costco, Alberta Education, and the City of Edmonton.

His background in martial arts and his strange northern English dialect make each foray into a public drinking establishment a potential adventure.
